Pictures

Last but not least, pictures of the kiddies. Caden is 4 and Mariyah just turned 1.

Update

Sorry it's SOOOOOO long between blog updates, but with working full time, kids...........well you know....lol

Here's Miss Independent. She learned to walk within a couple days. I put shoes on her for the first time and it was harder for her, but barefoot......look out.

Cado is camping with my parents and nephew in Idaho. So Nick and I decided to take the baby and head to Layton to the air show.

Sorry about the blurriness of this picture. The camera has anti shake and I guess it wasn't working when I took this picture....lol

Dangers of Drinking and Driving

This happened to a good friend of Nick's cousin.

She works hard to share her story and hopes to be able to save lives and get people to think twice before they drink and drive. It is just not worth it and is such a selfish act. She has amazingly forgiven the man who caused this accident. How? I don't know.

The man came tearing around a bend in the freeway while driving the wrong way at 100 mph, drunk the pickup truck careened into the Martis’ Toyota Camry car. Both Shawn, 24, and baby Sage, just 5 months old, died from their injuries.
Natalie was taken to a hospital with multiple, serious injures. Her neck, nose and right arm were broken. Her left arm had to be pieced back together with a metal plate and screws. Most dangerous of all, Natalie’s brain was bleeding and swelling. She was in a coma for over a month.

Please just help her share her message to get people to think harder about what they are taking away from others when they do drink and drive.

Nick's cousin is trying to get Natalie down to North Ogden to do a devotional for the youth her Mom works with at Church. She will let me know if that happens because she knows once you meet her - you will understand why she is here. She was deeply touched within the first 30 seconds of meeting her, really. She has helped her appreciate life and cling to those that she is so lucky to have around her.
